About the Cabin

This one-room modern cabin, located just outside Washington, VA, was constructed by Dr. Norman and Elinor Horwitz in 1973. Access the cabin from the adjacent parking area, after traveling up the steep 0.5 mile driveway. There, you will find a kitchen and bathroom with sleeping for 6 including a lofted double bed, a double futon, and a double-deck bunk. Hikers can access SNP through the adjacent Mount Marshall Trail. This cabin serves as a romantic destination for visitors to the Inn at Little Washington or the many local wineries in the area and provides an ideal cabin for leaf-peepers. Please note that pets are prohibited.
