Treasurer
I am interested in the Treasurer role on the Executive Council because it is a way to give back to the PATC using skills I have that are in need. My happy place is on the trail! I live in Maryland, just a few steps from Rock Creek Park where PATC maintains the trails, and am in the woods most days. I am a PATC member and am an avid hiker and backpacker, with 700 miles on the AT as a section hiker. I always appreciate the work of the PATC and other clubs along the trail for helping to make the experience more memorable, safe, and comfortable.
Relevant Experience
I have a deep background in business operations after working for a number of years in various executive roles, including as Chief Operating Officer of a boutique management consulting firm, and Chief Business Officer of a mid-sized membership-based organization. I have practical hands-on knowledge of the ins and outs of operating various business functions, including finance and reporting, budgeting and planning, accounting and audits, cash and investment management, purchasing, capital projects and facilities management, Human Resources, IT, Marketing, and Sales and have excelled in my career in terms of setting and achieving goals. I also have experience leading teams of up to 30 people as well as collaborating with other executives and senior leaders to ensure organizational goals are aligned across functions. I am organized, dedicated, good at communicating and collaborating within a team, and a creative thinker.
