Anna Michener Cabin
About the Cabin
This three-room cabin is located in the Michaux State Forest, 7 miles southeast of Shippensburg, PA. Construction was completed in 1966 in honor of Anna M. Michener's dedication and service to the PATC. Access the cabin by a 1-mile hike-in on the AT and a connector trail. There, you will find 2 bunkrooms, each with 3 double-deck bunks and a single bunk, adjoining a cozy living room. Get water from the Tarkettle Spring, cook on the wood stove or outdoor grill, and enjoy your surroundings from the spacious front porch. Ideal for families; pet friendly.
For more information on this and other PATC cabins, we recommend acquiring and reading a copy of our PATC Cabins Book.
