Supervisor of Communications
I want to help the PATC pivot toward a younger and more diverse membership base. I have seen firsthand how access to nature and the outdoors can yield mental, physical, and potentially spiritual benefits, and I hope to help PATC enable more people to have this kind of access. A key way to achieve this is implementing a consistent content strategy within the platforms and spaces in which this desired audience is most present. Additionally, the communications strategy must be aligned with the fundraising strategy, which I am motivated to support.
Relevant Experience
I bring over seven years’ worth of experience in communications, including establishing a new website for a publication, forming and implementing communications strategy, supporting and leading all stages of content creation, and team management. I currently work at the SOC Investment Group, which works with pension funds to engage corporations on issues relevant to their memberships. My role entails building coalitions around shareholder initiatives and conducting research. Previously, I worked for a strategic communications consultancy in New York City called Kekst CNC, where I worked to build an institutional knowledge base, managed a team of analysts, and worked on special situations and crisis communications. I’ve volunteered with PATC since 2022, and served as the PR Committee Chair since the beginning of 2024. Thanks for considering me for the role of Supervisor of Communications.
