Milesburn Cabin
About the Cabin
This primitive cabin, one of the oldest PATC cabins, is located in the Michaux State Forest. First used as a ranger cabin, then as a hunting lodge, Milesburn offers a large covered porch with two interior floors. On the first floor, you will find a wood cook stove, fireplace, and spacious eating area. Upstairs, there is a double bed, 2 double-deck bunks, and 4 single bunks. Access the cabin from the adjacent parking area. Hike along the AT or take Rocky Knob Trail for a 6 mile loop hike.
For more information on this and other PATC cabins, we recommend acquiring and reading a copy of our PATC Cabins Book.
